The Sanctuary Wellness Club started as an idea to bring people together and help each other live better lives. We love learning and improving our wellbeing on all levels - physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual.

The information age has been amazing in so many ways, however it has led to an overwhelming amount of media and content. It’s hard to stay focused on the basics and know who to trust when taking advice that affects such personal and impactful decisions.

We set up The Sanctuary to be a place where you can connect with a coach at a human level. We will support you on your individual and unique journey. Everyone has different needs, even if some fundamentals about eating well and getting exercise are universal.

Our purpose is to discover what makes you thrive and help you to find and stay on that path yourself. We are here to empower you to take control of your own destiny.

Our Coaches

Brittney Miller

Brittney has 15 years of experience in health and physical fitness. After struggling with body image growing up, at one point gaining over 30lbs in a year, she realized that healthy nutrition habits and daily body movement improved her life not only physically, but mentally and emotionally as well.

“After losing my father and the trauma of finding him unconscious and dead on the couch I was empowered to analyze his life and where I could have helped him live a quality life. My father struggled with addiction habits and unfortunately was resistant to change. However, that’s when I realized I could share my wisdom and knowledge with others who were ready to make a positive change in their lives. It motivated me to get my nutrition certification through Harvard and continue on this path of health and wellness.”

She loves the outdoors, staying active, and of course her dog Bodhi. She also enjoys teaching others how the basic elements of life all add up to our lived experience and how we feel and behave. From the food we consume, to the media we consume, everything that goes into our body has an impact on us. Our physical forms are our vessels for navigating the space that is Earth and are the most important things we can nurture and develop. 

Through conscious, thoughtful and intuitive eating and regular, rigorous, and safe exercising, 

Brittney believes that anyone can reach a steady state of health and wellness that will shine through and improve our lived experience here on this wild and wondrous planet.

J.T. Gyorfy

J.T. is a technology project manager by day and an explorer of all things life and philosophy in his free time. He is a certified Hatha yoga instructor and sound healer, and enjoys practicing kung fu, indoor rock climbing, snowboarding, skateboarding, and hiking in the woods.

His journey of health and wellness began when he was 25 years old, working a desk job 60 hours a week and suffering from chronic back pain along with persistent anxiety and depression. He felt he was too young to be suffering in these ways and began his endless journey of self-discovery with the goal of finding relief from the physical and mental pains of life. This led him down a path of spiritual seeking, building a community around physical activities, and learning to build better eating habits.

J.T. seeks to help others like him who find themselves caught in between the tugging forces of career demands and a balanced mental state, sharing some of the wisdom and techniques he has learned along the way in his own journey.
